Privacy Policy

Last updated October 8, 2026

Auctori ("we", "us") makes the Auctori app and the website at auctori.ai. This policy explains what we collect, why, who helps us run the service, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Account information. You sign in with Google. We receive your name, email address, profile picture and a Google account identifier. We don't receive your Google password.

Coin photos. When you scan a coin, we store the photos you take or upload, along with the results we give you (die variety, grade signal, value range).

Your collection. Coins you save, notes you add, and anything else you enter in My Collection are stored in the cloud so they're available on any device you sign in on.

Waitlist. If you join the waitlist on our website, we store your email address, when you signed up, which form you used, your browser's user agent and an approximate country. We use a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address for a short time to stop abuse. We don't store the IP address itself.

Website analytics. On our website we count visits without cookies or anything that identifies you: a random session id that disappears when you close the tab, how far down the page you scroll, which buttons you press, your device type (phone or desktop), an approximate country and the site that referred you, plus Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is also cookieless.

Basic technical data. Like most online services, our hosting providers keep standard logs (such as IP address, device type and error reports) to keep the service secure and working.

We don't ask for your location, contacts, or access to photos you haven't chosen to share with the app.

How we use it

We don't show ads, and we don't use your information for advertising.

We don't sell your personal information.

Who helps us run Auctori

We use a small number of service providers who process data for us under contract. They're only allowed to use it to provide their service to us.

ProviderWhat they do
SupabaseSign-in, database and photo storage
CloudflareWebsite hosting, security, cookieless website analytics, and the waitlist database
Modal and RunPodComputing that runs our identification and grade-signal models
GoogleSign-in with Google

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect people's safety or our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of the company (in which case this policy would still apply to your data).

How long we keep it

We keep your account, photos and collection while your account is open. If you delete your account, we delete your account information, photos and collection within 30 days, except where we have to keep something by law. After you delete your account, your photos aren't used in any future training; models that were already trained aren't retrained. Waitlist emails are kept until early access opens and then for 12 months, unless you ask us to remove yours sooner.

Your choices

Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights. We'll honor those requests and won't treat you differently for making them.

Children

Auctori isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has given us information, write to us and we'll delete it.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, and access is limited to the people who need it to run the service. No system is perfect, and we'll tell you if a breach affects your information as the law requires.

International users

We're a US company and store data in the United States. If you use Auctori from outside the US, your information will be processed in the US.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
